initrd problems
I am having problems setting up an initial ramdisk for my kernel. I
get the following message during boot:
RAMDISK: Couldn't find valid RAM disk image starting at 0.
I used make-kpkg to build my kernel from a stock 2.4.19 source tree:
make-kpkg --initrd -rev custom.2 kernel_image

ext2 is compiled into the kernel, but ext3 is compiled as a module.
The dmesg says that filesystem was mounted as ext2, but mount thinks
it's mounted as ext3:

I'm guessing that mount is just confused and /dev/hda3 is really
mounted as ext2.
How do I get initrd to work? What am I doing wrong?
