does anyone know how i can backwards-complete search the history of the zsh shell? For example, after calling dpkg-buildpackage and then dpkg-deb thereafter, how can I enter 'dpkg' and then let the shell complete (give options like tab completion, or a menu) which previous command starting with 'dpkg' I want? -- martin; (greetings from the heart of the sun.) \____ echo mailto: !#^."<*>"|tr "<*> mailto:" net@madduck "if they can get you asking the wrong questions, they don't have to worry about answers." -- thomas pynchon (gravity's rainbow)
