I have GAIM working fine, but how do you make it work for yahoo messenger? I
haven't seen the way, only AIM.

I have found Gaim (v0.59) to be most useful for AIM (via TOC), MSN,
ICQ and Yahoo IM's. I was a user of Gabber/Jabber. But I can not
comment on it's performance -- it's been a while.
