I've been using reiserfs for about a year now. Overall, stability is
good.
There have been some issues with reiserfs in the early 2.4.x series (x
<= 10 IIRC), but they seem to be fixed.
Anyway, kernels 2.4.9 - 15 have problems in many areas. Stick to
2.4.18 or 19. (I use .19 myself - 18 hangs my Athlon XP when doing
AGP.)
