esd locks X - 70% : on Toshiba 9100
I am running Debian Woody on a Toshiba 9100. Periodically, gnome (1.4)
becomes unresponsive. Existing running apps are fine, however, the
Gnome menu will not launch anything new and the Gnome panels become
unresponsive.
It seems as if the X events are Q'ed but not dispatched because killing
esd results in all of the mouse actions, that were not processed, being
released to X
Any ideas? thanks.
