That depends on your definition of "better". Are you looking strictly
at features, security, or something else? If security and following
"the Debian standards" are your two main goals, you can simply "apt-get
install qmail-src".

* It comes with a shell script that will (at your option),
automatically compile and "Debianize" qmail.

* This means qmail will still be updated by apt-get, should they ever
find reason to issue a new release.

* You don't have to learn the differences of a new mailserver.

I installed qmail on the mailserver for my domain when I was running
Debian 2.2r6 and kernel 2.2.19. I've since upgraded to Woody 3.0 and
kernel 2.4.18 and it's still workin' like a champ.

If you're still unsure which one's best, and you want some of the cold
hard facts, visit the mailing list for the respective servers, and ask
them why their's is better than the other guys; they'll tell ya in a
heartbeat. (Or visit google.com and do a search, if you prefer to
avoid flame wars. :-)
