I wanted to post that, but I didn't.

You can teach people how to do more of the work themselves while seeking
answers to their questions without admonishing them on a public list.

Try this:

"I did a search on Google and found these links. Use Google next time,
it's quick and easy to use on any platfrom... it's helped me *a lot* in
the past.

Instead of this:

"You are bothering me! Use Google to find the answers next time punk,
now, I'll lower myself to your level and tell you the answers to your
questions."

If I were 'new to debian' these netiquette lectures would've left a bad
taste in my mouth.

I think this is a *great* list! The topics are diverse and cover many
experience levels. Let's keep the list enjoyable and save the lectures
for MS users ;)
