It helps to know how to search for help.

Some useful things are:
  man <command>
  apropos <search word>
  locate <file>
  find <file>
  zless <compressed .gz text file>
mc <midnight commander can read .gz text>
  lynx <html files>
  dpkg -L <package>
google for www on another pc

It's much easier to have two computers.
I can surf the howtos on the web with my
windows pc while getting the debian pc
to run. Dual booting is a PITA.
