yes, i have another problem that and it was bugging me for quit a while but was always lazy to go after it i often notice that some vim processes escape control and eat up CPU time. i can't exactly tell the conditions but one thing i noticed is that when i use vim from midnight commander then it happens more often does anybody have an idea how and why could that happen? imre
