Juz sudden ideas.. would it be a good idea to have a ldap*-ssl
packages under the non-US section?
It would have been a great idea, but it should no longer be necessary.
The maintainer (Wichert Akkerman, wakkerma@debian.org) has tons of RFE
bugs asking for SSL/TLS support. He said he wouldn't do this until woody
was stable, because the packages were frozen. (Apparently, viewing
unstable as only a path to testing, he didn't like the idea of letting
unstable move forward apart from testing.)
As testing is no longer frozen, I presume we will be seeing SSL/TLS
support soon.
