Thank you for the answer

I get the same result. It is complaining that there is no screen defined
with 8 bit color depth. I've got a Ati radeon in my machine, and would
use the mystique for dualheading. I have disabled the radeon in the
XF86Config I am fiddling with. But only 8 bit :-(
