CUPS, Signal 11 & Sarge

I apt-get upgraded my system to Sarge a couple of days ago and my printer
quit working. Examining the log shows the following:

Job 94 queued on 'stinky' by 'daisymae'. I [28/Jul/2002:11:38:05 -0400]
Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstops (PID 1255) for job 94.
I [28/Jul/2002:11:38:05 -0400] Started filter /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstoraster
(PID 1256) for job 94.
I [28/Jul/2002:11:38:05 -0400] Started filter
/usr/lib/cups/filter/rastertoprinter (PID 1257) for job 94.
I [28/Jul/2002:11:38:05 -0400] Started backend /usr/lib/cups/backend/parallel
(PID 1258) for job 94.
E [28/Jul/2002:11:38:08 -0400] PID 1257 crashed on signal 11!

The printer is a Lexmark Z-52; using the gimp1.2-print drivers, connected to
parallel port 0.

Where do I start to debug this?

TIA
bob
