telling apt to lay off X while doing apt-get upgrade
Hello
I've got a system installed with woody. I removed the distribution
of Xfree86 that came with woody and replaced it with 4.2.0 (plays
nicer with my thinkpad). How do I configure apt to not upgrade
Xfree86, but continue along assuming that everything
dependent on XFree86 will be happy anyway? What is the
canonical method for configuring apt so?
