PCMCIA Card does not work after kernel upgrade

Hi
I am running Debian woody and I have upgraded the kernel that my
machine uses from 2.4.18-bf-2.4 to 2.4.18-686. Since doing this when
ever PCMCIA is started I get the following error:

Starting PCMCIA services: modulesLinux Kernel Card Services 3.1.22
  options: [pci] [cardbus] [pm]
/lib/modules/2.4.18-686/pcmcia/i82365.o: unresolved symbol
isapnp_find_dev_R9991be23
ds: no socket drivers loaded!
/lib/modules/2.4.18-686/pcmcia/ds.o: init_module: Operation not
permitted
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters cardmgr.

The kernel and PCMICIA Debian packages that I have installed are:
pcmcia-cs 3.1.33-6
kernel-doc-2.4.18 2.4.18-5
kernel-headers-2.4.18-686 2.4.18-5
kernel-image-2.4.18-686 2.4.18-5
kernel-pcmcia-modules-2.4.18-686 2.4.18-5
kernel-source-2.4.18 2.4.18-5
pciutils 2.1.9-4

Does any body know why this problem occurs and is there any way of
fixing it?

Thank you

Charlie
