nvidia-kernel module

Hi

I've got a GeForce3 Ti200 and want to compile nvidia-kernel.
I'm running a 2.4.18-686-5 kernel and here's what I've done:

apt-get install kernel-source-2.4.18
apt-get install nvidia-kernel-src
cd /usr/src
tar zxf nvidia-kernel-src.tar.gz
cd linux
make-kpkg modules_image
cd /usr/src
dpkg -i nvidia-kernel-2.4.18_1.0.2960-1+10.00.Custom_i386.deb

However I've got an i686-optimized kernel (kernel-image-2.4.18-686)
and modules are under /lib/modules/2.4.18-686. The nvidia-kernel
package that gets built installs the NVdriver module in
/lib/module/2.4.18. How can I force make-kpkg to build the proper
module that suits my kernel?

Thanks

Homer: Mmm, pi.
