that is a logical answer. that is something i thought of when
i had the problem(long since solved ..) however in the case
of radius, it has it's own cron script which runs daily and rotates
the logs. in the case of other logs theres that damn syslog-listfiles
script which runs weekly. so if you want logrotate to rotate a log
monthly your SOL unless you hack up the various cron scripts, or
like me, ditch it alltogether and go with a syslog server with
logs placed in an non-standard location so no scripts find them
as 'default' logs ..
