usb device node for the Canon S10

I am trying to get a Canon PowerShot S10 working under Linux.

I tested the gtkam application and the "camera:/" IO-Slave of KDE under
root, and they work fine. However, I have device access trouble logging
in as a normal user.

Does anybody know which usb device node is being used? If anybody else
uses a digital camera that communicates using usb, how do you enable
your normal user accounts to access the device?
