Starting a app remotely

Hello,

I ssh into my box at home from work.  What I would like to be able to
do if it is possible it when I am in my box, start an X application
that will start up in my X session at home.  I do not want to view the
app remotely at work, but rather have it running so when I come home
it will be up and running.  Basically I need to attach it to my x
session.  Is this even possible?
