BTW, I DO have networking working on one machine. NOT the one I'm using the
tulip module in but one I'm using a 3c509. In the box with the Netgear
FA310TX, the tulip module is already listed in /etc/modules but when I do
lsmod it shows 0 using it!! That must be a clue but I don't know what to do
with it.

BTW, got the 2 boxes using 3c509 running Debian using DHCP and they work
like a charm on cold boot!!! Thank you, thank you!
