Greetings Ed:

StarOffice 6 beta ran very well on this Woody box.  I don't feel the need to 
buy the final release at this moment however.  It is a pure binary package, 
so dependencies are not an issue.  It may however ask if you want to install 
the Java and/or database code.

I do not like the installer, but I didn't like SO5, SO5.1, or SO5.2 either!  
YMMV.  It gets the job done, but not in a Debian way. . .
