You'll want to use fetchmail (or getmail) to retrieve the mail so that
it can go through the normal delivery process --
exim/postfix/procmail/maildrop/whatever and _those_ systems can have
SA plugged in rather easily.  That's the advantage to "do one thing
and do it well" -- don't use the mail _reader_ to _transfer_ mail, use
it to read mail and use a separate program to download and
process/mangle/sort/filter the mail.
