NVidia driver and kernel
On my Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop, XF runs fine with kernel 2.4.14. With
kernel 2.4.18, the NVidia driver starts to load, then exits and XF won't
start. Is anyone aware of any kernel options that might affect the
NVidia driver loading or of any issues with the 2.4.18 kernel?
Obviously, the XF86Config-4 file and all other files are the same. Only
the kernel and module files are different. Below are sections from
