SOLVED: !!! Re: ??Woody Support for S3 Inc. Unknown device 8c2e (rev 05) VGA?

TURNS out that its a # SuperSavage IX/C SDR and runs pretty darn good on:
	woody
	xfree86 4.1.01 <- from woody
	using the driver from below

just copy the savage_drv.o over the one installed with the Woody XFree86 
adn run:
	dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
	select the s3 and savage options
