        Which nic?

Accton En 1207D  on (irq 11)

        Which release of debian?

Debian 2.2 (potato)

        Which kernel?

I know one finds the kernel info in a file, but could you tell me where?

Modules or compiled into? (yer choice)

I'd love to try to do both however I'm not much past compiling the "Hello World" program.

If you give us more info (out of the gate) we can make our responces a tad
