As modules, and the modules are loaded when USB conroller is present.
The only weak point is installing with floppy disks, the message
"replace the disk and press Return" appears to early, before modules are
loaded. For this case, we have the "keytimer" option that you can pass
on boot prompt.

For installation from CD, it should work fine without any special user
intervention beside choosing bf2.4 as installation flavor.
