Re: Recovering a dd'd MBR -Possible?



Eric, I cc'd this to the list hope you don't mind.
It maintains the thread and may be usefull to others who may be tempted to
do something equally stupid.

Yes. With the partition table screwed I don't think access is possible by
normall legitimate means and I can't afford ASIO. :-))[1]

I doubt if the hassle would be worth it for sid. I have a permanant
connection so it is only time. Trying to remember what I had is the hard
part.
