Fetch the sysklogd package ('apt-cache show sysklogd | grep ^Filename:'
shows you the file you need to get from your local Debian mirror) and
install it with 'dpkg --force-confnew sysklogd_1.4.1-10_i386.deb' (or
whatever the filename is).
This will restore all sysklogd's conffiles to their defaults.
