UML

Hi,

I'm interested in installing UML (User-mode Linux), and I have questions
(no, I haven't rtfm):
- Does the root filesystem reside in a file?
- On systems that have NICs, who's owning them? Or, do the kernels see
them independently? ie: depending on the setup of the IP numbers; in
short, each kernel behaves just like on a system that connects to the
network with each own IP number.
- How is the speed?
