There was a thread on it on gnu.emacs.gnus not too far back (look on
http://groups.google.com for it).  There are people who swear by it;
arguments against it are (a) it's rude to force people to answer an
automated mail just to talk to you, and (b) it works poorly with
address books like BBDB that try to match names and email addresses.
