My TERM variable shows xterm. I found xterm-xfree86 in my
/etc/terminfo/x directory, but when I try `xterm -tn xterm-xfree86`
these keys still won't work. :-(

`set | grep TERM` shows `TERM=xterm` only or `TERM=xterm-xfree86` when I
tryed the command above.

What else should I look for to make HOME and END keys work?

Thanks.
