usb-storage problem

Hi,

I want to use a usb zip drive on my Woody box but failed to install it.
I load the following modules (in this order):

usb-uhci
ide-scsi
sg
sd_mod
usb-storage

then I mount the usb device file system:

mount -t usbdevfs none /proc/bus/usb

it works but when I cat /proc/bus/usb/devices, it takes a few seconds to
display the information(doesn't look normal). Here's what I get :

The /proc/scsi/scsi gives

Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: LITEON Model: DVD-ROM LTD163 Rev: GDHA
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 01 Lun: 00
Vendor: _NEC Model: NR-7800A Rev: 1.0B
Type: CD-ROM ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
  Vendor: Model: Rev:
Type: <NULL> ANSI SCSI revision: ffffffff

The two first devices, are my IDE dvd and cdr drives(works perfectly
/dev/scd0 and /dev/scd1). The last one is probably the usb drive but it
doesn't seem normal. I tried to mount a zip using /dev/sda , sdb, sdc
... but doesn't work(no valid device)

Any idea ?
