Pump and Dhclient

I have both installed.
	- is there a way to tell ifup/down which to use?
dhclient seems to need entries for each interface, that will get a 
lease, in /etc/dhclient.conf.  Pump is nice in that it only requireds on 
place to specifiy that the interface will be dhcp
	(/etc/network/interfaces)
Is what are the pro's cons of using these differnt tools?
