The "Pasolink" is a CSU/DSU then?  I'm not familiar with that make.  In
any case, Sangoma makes WAN router cards that work well with Linux.  Maybe
they can help you.

You might also check and see what Cyclades has to offer.

V.35 is an electrical spec only.  The protocol is up to your provider.  It
will usually be one of hdlc, frame relay, or ppp.  There are a few other
possibilities but they're less common.  Bottom line is that if you want to
put in a router you'll have to work with your provider.
