Firstly, xsession is what is run when you are logged in by something like
xdm or kdm, or gdm. For using startx, you want .xinitrc. Edit
/usr/bin/startx to verify.

Assuming you have ssh-agent runnung (if not, use this line in your
.xsession)

exec ssh-agent fvwm2

(replace fvwm2 with whatever you use)

You may want to change this to

ssh-add < /dev/null

And make sure you have ssh-askpass installed.

This should be run by your Window Manager (perhaps you can use xclients
file)
