Re: php postgres apache howto?
Apache is already installed and working.
PHP3 is already installed and working
Postgresql is already installed and working
PHP3 and Apache work. If I go to http://localhost/test.php3
to get info on php3 it tells me the config script that was
used
Configure command: ../configure '--with-apxs=/usr/bin/apxs'
'--disable-debug' '--with-filepro'
'--with-config-file-path=/etc/php3/apache' '--with-zlib' '--without-gd'
'--enable-sysvsem' '--enable-sysvshm' '--with-yp' '--with-gettext'
'--with-ftp' '--with-system-
Therefore I need to get source for php3 (since that is what I already
have installed and working)
One also has to download apache-dev
php3-dev
postgresql-dev
apt-get install apache-dev php3-dev postgresql-dev
I apt-get source install php3
There is a ./setup file in the php3 source directory.
I used your suggestions --with-apxs (needs apache-dev) to work
otherwise a warning comes up.
and --with-pgsql=/usr
and BINGO it works!
Thanks
