Configuring apsfilter and Lexmark Z11

Hi,
	I am trying to get my Lexmark Z11 to work with debian. I have found a 
driver and instructions to configure apsfilter to work with the driver. 
The problem seems to be a difference in the apsfilter currently used in 
debian and the file format used for the driver example.

The instructions seem to detail how to add a new entry that apsfilter 
can now configure, but the docs at apsfilter.org make no ref to such an 
action. And neither doc explain the apsfilter enough for me to figure 
out exactly what he is doing.

So if anyone has gotten a Lexmark Z11 to work with debian, or knows 
where i can find info about editing apsfilter - I would appreciate some help
