I overreacted. It just pisses me off when people blame Debian
(or any linux) for other OS's poorly designed software, or their
lack of knowledge about it.

The other day my programming instructor gave me a hard time
because I was using cygwin's gcc port in class. I can't stand
editing source without vim, I'm addicted. Anyway, I did
something stupid and gcc naturally told me so. I asked him for
some help. So how does my helpful instructor reply? He says,
"So how do you like using gcc" and he laughs at me. Turns out I
tried to include <fstream> inside of main (don't ask :). Stupid
newbie mistake and he's taking cracks at gcc instead of my
programming skill. I have no respect for people who criticize
something to protect their own inadequacy. Especially when they
assume the problem is a mature product like linux.

Sorry, I could have been a little more constructive. I just
don't see too much of the constructive sort of criticism coming
"our" way.
