i just assumed your manual route add command was a cut-n-paste
of the commands from the email ...( not from your history files ? )
dont matter ... good that it was a single "bit" off from what
ya wanted ... it(ifup) shoulda been self-correcting ...
( self correcting to what?? who knows.. :-)
