package problems

Hello,
I am trying to install g++ from your stable packages website. The problem is though, it depends on libstdc++2.10-dev before it can configure. If you try and install libstdc++2.10-dev (also from the stable packages website), it depends on g++ to configure. It would appear that they depend on each other to install completely but how do you get around this?
I am installing using dpkg rather than apt get. I am using Debian potato.
Thanks for your help
Robbie
