How many SCSI disks do you have?

Did you plug your SCSI drive(s) back in the same way they were? Have
you triple-checked the cabling? Did you put termination back on,
properly, if necessary?

Is there a SCSI setup utility during your system's POST boot process?
Use it to confirm your hardware's where you expect it.

Sounds like the drive's there, but you're not getting the partitions
located properly. Try specifying your boot and init options at the LILO
prompt:

    linux boot=/dev/sda<number> init=/bin/bash

...which should give you a shell.

If that doesn't work, get the LNX-BBC rescue disk (CD-R required,
preferred) or Tom's Root/Boot (floppy, much less capable), and boot
these to explore your system:

    http://www.lnx-bbc.org/	LNX-BBC
    http://www.toms.net/rb/	Tom's Root/Boot

Peace.
