reiserfs (root partition) on lvm

Hi.

I'm trying to use reiserfs partition as root (/) on lvm.

I am using unstable debian.
I have lvm10 and lvm-common installed.
I'm using kernel-2.4.13 (from ftp.kernel.org)

When I boot I get these error messages:

lvm -- lvm_chr_ioctl: unknown command 4004fe0a
lvm -- lvm_blk_ioctl: unknown command 21264

It does not stop me and reiserfs sucessfully becomes root.

Any ideas on what might be causing this ?
