is your system chipset listed in the list of lm_sensors/i2c
supported chipsets?
- some i810 based motherboards are NOT supported
did you run your config option for lmsensor ??
./lm-sensors-2.6.1/prog/detect/sensors-detect
did you create the /dev/i2c-* devices
./lm-sensors-2.6.1/prog/mkdev/mkdev.sh
- is i2c_core.o, i2c-isa.o ... installed as modules ...
lsmod
is the path to i2c-*.o files defined in /etc/modules.conf
...
path[misc]=/lib/modules/`uname -r`/misc
did you do depmod -a
for more info...
