there are some nice utilities,that you may find useful.
i think there is a ssh remote utility that allows you to supervise
a remote server.
The thing is that is a .ro server,it's actually my isp server,and
the tools were uploaded by me from freshmeat.net one year ago..
might be a little old,but useful.
