Hm, they consider removing a feature a bugfix :(

I use the kernel based pppoe stuff since half a year now (starting
with my own patched version of pppd) and I never cared about the (IMO)
usermode Version.

I think pppoe.so should be added to the ppp package again, or even moved to
a seperat package.

Since we are talking about "sid" here it should be no problem to use a CVS
version of pppd to make dial-on demand working as well.
