How can I stop those annoying PAM_unix (cron) messages in auth.log ? pam_unix (cron) : session opened by user mail I thought the session module in /etc/pam.d/cron is responsible for logging, but commenting out didn´t succeed ! btw. What´s the difference between Syslog Facilities auth and authpriv ? thanks - Christian
