OK, my turn.

How do you make it ***stay*** changed.

I've got to go in and re-apply my preferred keymaps every !@#$%^&*()
time i apt-get update my system.  Seems this ought to be considered a
config file.  Even setting the immutable attribute was overridden.

Anyone?
