`cat $spoolfile | formail -s procmail` ;-)

In fact, I just did that ~ 10 minutes ago, as sendmail decided over 
 night that it wouldn´t honor my .forward any more, and stuffed 
 everything into /var/spool/mail/$user. hrmph.
