I've noticed this too. I don't think I mind additional hacks being listed, but they shouldn't show up as 'on' unless they're installed. Some of the uninstalled hacks are selected for rotation, which I'd definitely considere a bug. Some of the hacks are not packaged for Debian (ES is one IIRC), others are avialable as separate packages (ssystem, xaos). ...um...I think I'll stop getting into an more detail and refer all questions regarding time spent configuring xscreensaver to my lawyer. -- Karsten M.
