Don't use it! This is the pretty old Slink, expect crapy old software
and problems with larget disks (and many new hardware pieces).

No. If you are new, don't try non-stable releases. You maybe have more
luck wit Progeny (http://www.progeny.com) which combine parts of Stable
and Woody with a Newbie-friendly installation system.

If you are lucky, this thing could emulate the usuall Soundblaster and a
modem, but don't expect wonders.

Cheaper choice: Soundblaster PCI 16/64/128. They work good with modules
es1370 and es1371.

Something external, for the serial port. Don't take internal PCI-cards,
that are in most cases not real modems (so called Win-Modems).
