When you boot up, do you get the option of both "1" and "w"? If so, I would suspect that LILO is functioning properly, but that Win98 has gotten confused. If you get the option, what happens when you press "w"?
Here's what I'd try.1) Make sure I have a failsafe method of booting into Linux (a boot floppy, etc).
2) Boot off a Win98 boot floppy and run "sys c:" to copy the boot-up system files to the C: drive.
3) Boot back into Linux; run "lilo". 4) Try it out. If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd: 1) Make sure I have a failsafe method of booting into Linux.2) Boot off a Win98 boot floppy and run "fdisk /mbr" to restore Win98's version of the Master Boot Record. Then I'd run "sys c:".
3) Boot back into Linux; run "lilo". 4) Try it out. If that doesn't solve the problem, post the results and we'll go from there. Kent
